Les chiffres de cette catastrophe \u00e9cologique sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent sont \u00e0 glacer le sang tant ils sont effarants. Pr\u00e8s de 6 millions<\/strong> d\u2019hectares partis en fum\u00e9e sous les effets conjugu\u00e9s de plusieurs centaines de foyers d\u2019incendie encore actifs<\/strong>. Plus d\u2019un demi-milliard d\u2019animaux <\/strong>sont calcin\u00e9s alors qu\u2019on d\u00e9plore la mort de plus de 20 personnes. Plus de 1300 maisons lamin\u00e9es<\/strong> par les flammes et plusieurs dizaines de milliers de personnes \u00e9vacu\u00e9es<\/strong> s\u2019ajoutent au d\u00e9cor de l\u2019\u00e9pouvante. La facture du d\u00e9sastre est tr\u00e8s sal\u00e9e pour la faune. Cependant, au-del\u00e0 des kangourous, des koalas, et autres animaux r\u00e9pertori\u00e9s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 date, c\u2019est tout un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me qui est d\u00e9truit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voulant sensibiliser sur la probl\u00e9matique \u00e9cologique, Port-au-Prince Post estime opportun d\u2019attirer l\u2019attention de ses lectrices et lecteurs sur le fait que l\u2019humanit\u00e9 enti\u00e8re p\u00e2tit de ce drame indescriptible.
