L&#8217;homme sourit : \u00ab Barbecue, il vous emmerde encore l\u00e0-bas ? \u00bb Stup\u00e9faction. Sourcils lev\u00e9s. Comment connais-tu ce chef de gang ? \u00ab YouTube, TikTok\u2026 Je regarde ses vid\u00e9os tout le temps \u00bb, r\u00e9pond le Colombien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">La sc\u00e8ne dit tout : la r\u00e9putation d&#8217;Ha\u00efti se construit d\u00e9sormais en ligne, port\u00e9e par des contenus de gangs qui envahissent les plateformes et \u00e9crasent tout autre r\u00e9cit. Ces images virales, jamais contredites, fa\u00e7onnent la perception mondiale du pays. Pourtant, la transition cens\u00e9e redresser la nation laisse filer le contr\u00f4le du narratif. L&#8217;image d&#8217;Ha\u00efti continue de s&#8217;ab\u00eemer, jour apr\u00e8s jour, \u00e9cran apr\u00e8s \u00e9cran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">C&#8217;est un scandale. La r\u00e9putation internationale d&#8217;Ha\u00efti est d\u00e9sormais filtr\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence num\u00e9rique des gangs. Un \u00e9tranger identifie imm\u00e9diatement le pays par la figure de \u00ab Barbecue \u00bb. R\u00e9duction identitaire totale : un peuple, une culture, une histoire, mais un seul personnage m\u00e9diatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00eame un citoyen de la classe moyenne, en vacances, est ramen\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;image de son pays pris en otage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Aujourd&#8217;hui, l&#8217;\u00e9tranger d\u00e9tient via YouTube et TikTok un pseudo-savoir qui prime sur l&#8217;exp\u00e9rience quotidienne de l&#8217;Ha\u00eftien. Les gangs deviennent des marques m\u00e9diatiques, des personnages globaux. Leur narratif s&#8217;impose sans m\u00e9diation journalistique.<br>Ha\u00efti perd la bataille symbolique : l&#8217;Etat, les institutions, les \u00e9lites ne produisent presque aucun contre-discours fort, structur\u00e9 et continu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">La transition politique n&#8217;a pas reconquis l&#8217;espace narratif num\u00e9rique.
