La repr\u00e9sentante du Bureau int\u00e9gr\u00e9 des Nations-Unies en Ha\u00efti (BINUH), Maria Isabel Salvador plaide en faveur d\u2019un soutien financier pour la Mission multinationale d\u2019appui \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (MMAS).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Alors qu\u2019Ha\u00efti attend l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des officiers qui vont composer la\u00a0 force multinationale d\u2019appui \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, lors d\u2019une r\u00e9union au Conseil de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la cheffe du BINUH, Maria Isabel Salvador, fait le plaidoyer aupr\u00e8s des \u00c9tats membres de l\u2019Organisation des Nations-Unies afin d\u2019accorder un soutien financier durable pour la r\u00e9ussite de la MMAS.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Mme Salvador se dit d\u00e9\u00e7ue de voir que le plan d&#8217;intervention humanitaire 2024 n&#8217;est financ\u00e9 qu&#8217;\u00e0 hauteur de 24,3 % . Elle a tenu \u00e0 exprimer ses pr\u00e9occupations sur les niveaux alarmants de violence en Ha\u00efti. \u00ab La violence aveugle des gangs s&#8217;est constamment \u00e9tendue au-del\u00e0 de la capitale \u00e0 d&#8217;autres r\u00e9gions du pays \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 la cheffe du BINUH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Maria Isabel Salvador a reconnu des progr\u00e8s observ\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9ploiement de la MMAS dont la construction de la base pour loger les officiers. Aux yeux de Mme Salvador, le premier contingent k\u00e9nyan d\u00e9j\u00e0 en Ha\u00efti est un pas important dans la mise en \u0153uvre de la r\u00e9solution 2699 du Conseil de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. En ce sens, elle en a profit\u00e9 pour applaudir les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par les \u00c9tats membres pour assurer cette mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">La pr\u00e9sence des officiers kenyans ne semble pas \u00e9branler des bandits arm\u00e9s puisqu\u2019ils avaient attaqu\u00e9 et ensuite pris le contr\u00f4le du commissariat de Gressier la semaine derni\u00e8re.
