L&#8217;ancien chef du gouvernement sous l&#8217;administration de Michel Joseph Martelly est sous la liste noir am\u00e9ricaine pour avoir d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins priv\u00e9es au moins 60 millions de dollars provenant des fonds Petrocaribe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">La nouvelle a eu l&#8217;effet d&#8217;une bombe atomique. Le secr\u00e9taire d\u2019Etat am\u00e9ricain Antony Blinken a annonc\u00e9 des sanctions contre l&#8217;ancien Premier ministre Lamothe qui a d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins priv\u00e9es pas moins de 60 millions de dollars provenant des fonds PetroCaribe. Les \u00c9tats-Unis viennent de placer l&#8217;ancien chef du gouvernement sous la liste noir et Laurent Salvador Lamothe est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement in\u00e9ligible \u00e0 l&#8217;entr\u00e9e aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Selon le communiqu\u00e9 du secr\u00e9taire d&#8217;\u00c9tat am\u00e9ricain, par cet acte de corruption et son implication directe dans la gestion du fonds, Laurent Salvador Lamothe a exploit\u00e9 son r\u00f4le d&#8217;agent public et a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;instabilit\u00e9 actuelle en Ha\u00efti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">L&#8217;ex Premier ministre Laurent Salvador Lamothe, qui nourrissait l&#8217;envie de se porter candidat \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence, clamait tout le temps son innocence dans la stratag\u00e8me de vaste corruption du fonds PetroCaribe. Il justifiait la construction de &#8220;25 stades&#8221;, et d&#8217;autres projets financ\u00e9s par le fonds PetroCaribe o\u00f9 l&#8217;argent a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 suivant le rapport de la Cour sup\u00e9rieure des comptes et du Contentieux administratif. Ce rapport est rest\u00e9 sans suite par la justice ha\u00eftienne qui est r\u00e9duite \u00e0 n\u00e9ant sous la gouvernance de Jovenel Mo\u00efse, 2e version PHTK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Le chef de la diplomatie am\u00e9ricaine, Antony Blinken, dit que son pays va continuer \u00e0 soutenir les citoyens, les organisations et les fonctionnaires d&#8217;Ha\u00efti qui s&#8217;engagent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er de l&#8217;espoir et des opportunit\u00e9s pour un avenir meilleur dans leur pays.&nbsp; &#8220;Les \u00c9tats-Unis continueront \u00e0 promouvoir l&#8217;obligation de rendre des comptes pour ceux qui abusent du pouvoir public \u00e0 des fins personnelles \u00bb, poursuit-il.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">\u00ab La d\u00e9signation d&#8217;aujourd&#8217;hui fait partie d&#8217;une s\u00e9rie d&#8217;actions visant \u00e0 promouvoir la responsabilit\u00e9 de ceux qui fomentent la violence, bloquent l&#8217;aide humanitaire vitale et s&#8217;enrichissent aux d\u00e9pens du peuple ha\u00eftien \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Notons que plus de 4 milliards de dollars provenant du fonds PetroCaribe ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pens\u00e9s en Ha\u00efti sans la r\u00e9alisation de grandes infrastructures. Plusieurs projets sont rest\u00e9s inachev\u00e9s. Les mouvements populaires pour demander des comptes sur l&#8217;utilisation de ce fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9prim\u00e9s par les forces de l&#8217;ordre. Plusieurs hauts fonctionnaires d&#8217;\u00c9tat ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9pingl\u00e9s pour mauvaise gestion dudit fonds par la Cour sup\u00e9rieure des comptes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
